The summary report for the reviewed and revised SOHAR flagged that whilst financing for projects is sourced from diverse channels worldwide, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) stands out as a primary funder for research, supporting a multitude of initiatives. Furthermore, whilst various entities contribute to project funding globally, the BBSRC consistently champions research endeavours within the realm of biotechnology and biological sciences, playing a pivotal role in advancing innovation and discovery in these fields.
